Tara Hanson was born and raised deep in the mountains of rural West Virginia, lovingly brought up by her grandparents. A wife and mother, Tara has always found herself drawn to the strange pull of horror—where the eerie, the unspoken, and the downright terrifying can hide in plain sight.
Her love of reading took root during a unplanned vacation at a psych ward, where books offered escape, comfort, and the spark that would one day light her path as a writer.
